Keep a dedicated four-pin flange head and useful fastener openings together in one workshop wrench. The raised square teeth engage a matching grinder flange, while the flat steel handle adds several hexagonal cutouts and an open end for compatible maintenance tasks without switching between separate hand tools.

The raised square teeth surround the working head, providing several engagement points when the flange pattern and access are compatible.

Multiple hexagonal cutouts provide additional contact points for suitable nuts and fasteners, with an open end at the handle tip.

Use the flange head for a compatible grinder setup, then choose a properly fitting handle opening for an appropriate hand-fastening task.

A dedicated flange-wrench head gives you a controlled hand-tool approach to loosening and tightening a matching retaining nut.

Store it beside the discs and accessories used with a compatible angle grinder, ready for planned disc changes and routine workshop maintenance. A single body with several working openings is also handy when sorting a compact repair kit.

Disconnect the grinder from its power source and wait for the disc to stop completely. Check the flange pattern, pin spacing and clearance against the actual wrench; disc diameter alone does not establish fit. Follow the grinder manufacturer’s spindle-lock and disc-change procedure, seat the head fully and apply controlled hand force. Keep your hands away from the disc edge. Do not add a pipe extension or use powered torque. Wipe clean and store dry after use.
Review the raised pins, flat handle, hexagonal cutouts and open end shown in the diagram. Match the actual contact surfaces to your flange or fastener rather than treating the illustrated 100/125 mm labels as verified socket dimensions. The grinder, discs and other scene props are not included.

Only use it where the locknut provides matching engagement points and the grinder instructions permit this type of wrench. Other locknut designs may need a different procedure.
Stop rather than forcing the wrench. Check the grinder manufacturer’s removal guidance and have damaged or seized parts assessed before proceeding.
No. Use the matching head or opening for controlled hand-wrench tasks; do not strike or pry with the tool.

Between my DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita angle grinders, I was constantly misplacing the specific factory spanner wrenches. This four-pin design is a lifesaver! The pin spacing engages the lock nut holes securely on every 4-1/2" and 5" grinder I own. I tossed all the scattered factory keys and keep just this one hooked on my tool belt.

What makes this tool stand out from ordinary grinder spanners is the cutouts along the handle. Having built-in hex wrench sizes means you don’t need to climb down the ladder to grab a separate socket or open-ended wrench when adjusting guards or tightening arbor nuts. Incredibly smart, multi-functional design.

Cutting wheels often bind and overtighten the arbor nut after heavy use. Flimsy stamped sheet metal wrenches always bend or slip right off. This wrench is forged from thick, rigid steel with solid pins that bite deep into the lock nut. Gave it a good tap with the palm of my hand and broke free a stubborn nut instantly with zero flexing.

The machined pins are perfectly cylindrical and tall enough to seat completely into the flange nut holes. They don't cam out or round off the pin holes under high torque, which protects your knuckles from scraping against sharp abrasive discs. Safe, controlled, and dependable.
Tyler B.
The length provides excellent mechanical advantage for stubborn nuts without feeling clumsy in tight spaces. The edges along the handle are deburred smoothly so they don't dig into your palms when applying heavy downward pressure. A noticeable ergonomic upgrade over cheap stock tools.

I do mobile welding and fabrication work out of a service truck, so keeping hand tools minimal is crucial. This combines multiple wrench sizes and universal pin spanner duties into one compact flat profile. Fits flat in a side pouch or hangs neatly from a pegboard hole.
